Speaking of the license, this would seem to be the heart of the document:Ģ.1 With regard to Consumer End Users: the CCP Software is licensed, not sold. Of course, there is language later on that says URC can terminate the license whenever they want to. It is not saying that is a date where end users would lose access. That section appears to simply define 'Consumer End User' as a user who registers by the 'Cutoff Date'. Not sure if anyone here's seen the latest License Agreement, but it states there:ġ.4 “Consumer CCP Cutoff Date” shall refer to December 31, 2021. I have it installed on my desktop where it was never updated to the version that requires a user ID and will leave that one as is. I would think the old setup file from 2013 plus all the updates would get up updated to the newest version. I entered my email and received the message that I was approved for use with future updates an received an email confirmation with my user ID and password. This morning, I applied the updates and now receive the box with the popup to validate my user ID. I went through that process and did obtain the ID and have signed in with my new ID. I updated my laptop with the setup file that I received from the dealer and went through the updates to the new version that required the login ID. So URC seems to be setting things up and maybe version 4.xx will be posted soon. I suppose this is better than the 2013 install file that I have (with errors as described in post #163).īut this link was not there when I first registered. 2, which appears to be from early in 2020.
